Zipaquirá is a medium roast with citrus notes that shine bright! The natural lemon and herbal flavors complement the coffee’s innate acidity and makes for the perfect morning drink in the springtime. We believe this Columbian blend is “down to earth” and is most enjoyed in the great outdoors or as an iced coffee.

About Zipaquirá:

Zipaquirá is home to La Catedral de Sal, otherwise known as the Salt Cathedral in Zipaquirá. This underground Roman Catholic church is formed entirely of salt and dates back to the 5th Century B.C. Today, it is hailed as Colombia's "Jewel of Modern Architecture."

Commercial mining at the Salt Cathedral began in the 1800s, where miners prayed every day before their work. By 1950, a formal cathedral was constructed and dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary, the patron saint of miners.

One of only three salt cathedrals in the world, the Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá is a tourist destination and pilgrimage site. Church services take place every Sunday in front of the 50 ft illuminated cross, which is the largest underground cross in the world.
