Warmikuna is a medium-dark roast from the Warmikuna Cluster, a group of women coffee producers in Peru's Junin region.
In Qechua, the language of the Incas, and today still one of Peru's most spoken languages, 'warmikuna' means 'group of women.' The Warmikuna Cluster is comprised of 55 women representing six coffee farms that have demonstrated a leading role in the local coffee industry.
In 2010, a small group of women joined a farmer support program to handle the challenges faced by coffee farmers. In 2022, the Warmikuna Cluster was created.
Boarding Pass Coffee will donate a portion of every sale of Warmikuna to the International Women's Coffee Alliance (IWCA).
