We serve thoughtfully sourced, locally roasted coffee, expertly crafted espresso drinks, and seasonal beverages made with quality ingredients.
We pride ourselves on serving only specialty-grade, farm-to-cup coffee (direct from our award-winning family coffee farm in Brazil and roasted right here in Georgia).
Our space is designed to be welcoming and comfortable — whether you’re stopping in for a quick coffee, meeting a friend, getting work done, or fueling up before a trip. With our travel themed decor, we are kid-friendly with children's activities, books, and toys.
Combined with friendly baristas and a relaxed atmosphere, Boarding Pass Coffee has become a go-to café for both locals and visitors looking for excellent coffee and a great experience.
📍 Boarding Pass Coffee: A Timeline of Growth
Boarding Pass Coffee is a specialty coffee brand rooted in a passion for travel, quality coffee, and community. Our development reflects a thoughtful journey from a single vision to a growing collection of neighborhood cafés.
Early 2020 — The Concept Takes Flight
The founders of Boarding Pass Coffee launched with a travel-inspired vision—featuring single-origin coffees from their farm, Fazenda Sant’ana, and thoughtfully selected origins around the world, all rooted in exploration, quality, and storytelling.
2021 — Milton, GA (MIL)
Building on that vision, the first Boarding Pass Coffee shop opened in Milton, Georgia in 2021. The Milton location introduced the brand’s signature approach — expertly roasted specialty coffee, thoughtfully crafted espresso drinks, and a welcoming space designed for locals, travelers, and coffee enthusiasts alike.
2023 — Gainesville, GA (GVL)
In 2023, Boarding Pass Coffee expanded with a second location in Gainesville, Georgia—its first full café with a complete food menu. Bringing its travel-inspired, community-focused experience to a new market, the shop quickly became known for its relaxed atmosphere and consistently high-quality coffee. The fully immersive design features sections inspired by airplanes, trains, and boats, and the café also serves beer and wine.
2024 — Alpharetta, GA (ACC and OLM)
Continuing its intentional growth, Boarding Pass Coffee opened two new café locations in Alpharetta, Georgia in 2024. These cafés further strengthened the brand’s presence in the region while maintaining the same core values established from the beginning: quality sourcing, friendly service, and spaces designed for connection.
2026 — Buckhead, Atlanta, GA (PIN)
Boarding Pass Coffee will open a new coffee bar inside the Pinnacle Building in the Buckhead district of Atlanta in 2026. This location expands the brand into a premier corporate setting while maintaining the same core values established from the beginning: quality sourcing, warm hospitality, and thoughtfully designed spaces that foster connection—now tailored for the pace and professionalism of the modern workplace.
About the Owners
Coffee and travel are what brought Boarding Pass Coffee founders, Murilo and Christine Santos, together. Their relationship percolated at Murilo's family coffee farm in Brazil over the years - from initially introducing Christine to the family all the way to their wedding.

Their coffee story began in 2013, when Murilo brought Christine to meet his family for the first time at Fazenda Sant’ana, their coffee farm in Serra Negra.
At the time, Murilo and Christine were living and working in São Paulo, immersed in the fast pace of city life. Just a few hours away, the farm offered a striking contrast. A seasoned traveler, Christine was captivated by its quiet beauty and simplicity, and what began as a visit quickly grew into something more meaningful.
Weekends soon became a rhythm of returning to the farm—gathering with family and friends, trading the energy of São Paulo for fresh air, open space, and a deeper appreciation for the craft and care behind every cup of coffee.
One of the highlights in the fazenda-routine was the afternoon coffee which would include warm, homemade cake and strong brewed coffee.
After Murilo proposed in 2014, selecting the wedding venue was a no-brainer.
When the big day arrived, the setting could not have been more picturesque with rolling coffee fields as far as the eye can see in every direction. A small chapel named after St. Ana (Sant'ana) was the site of the official ceremony and then the reception was a melding of both American and Brazilian traditions.

Caipirinhas (made with Brazilian cachaça) were flowing, but the late-night snack stayed true to American classics—cheeseburgers and French fries (just missing the apple pie!). Guests took home personalized packages of Fazenda Santana coffee, bringing a taste of the farm back to the States.
After returning to Christine’s home country in 2018, they found themselves missing that same signature coffee—leading them to begin roasting in 2020 and ultimately laying the foundation for Boarding Pass Coffee.
