About Serra Negra:

Serra Negra is a tiny town in the São Paulo countryside known for its coffee production. Even the name, Serra Negra, translates to “black hills” for the rolling hills covered in coffee plants.

This coffee comes exclusively from the Fazenda Santana, the Boarding Pass Coffee family’s coffee farm, situated near the town of Serra Negra in the Sao Paulo countryside. The farm produces award-winning specialty coffee that is carefully cultivated, irrigated by mineral-rich spring water, and handled with love. Both the farm and beans are certified UTZ/Rainforest Alliance, and organic certification underway.

Beyond coffee production, Serra Negra is a quaint tourist town that features artisan shops, live music, and lively bars and restaurants. We have been blessed to enjoy many events here, from a 5k race as well as many carnival celebrations where kids run around in costume shooting off canisters of spray foam and throwing confetti. It is a wonderful place!
